https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126416773087
Tilea, much like Estalia, was taken by suprise. And being as close as they were to Skavenblight, the city-states never really stood a chance. Riven by internecine conflict, the city states were slow to react, and only became unified once it was too late.
The skaven clans, in startling contrast, were unified from the start, with numerous lesser clans, such as Skurvy, Carrion and Klaw allying to cripple the city states from above and below. Interestingly, none of the four great clans participated in the sacking of Tilea, despite representatives from each being present in the largest hordes.
Miragliano fell first, in a matter of hours. It fell so quickly, in fact, that few were aware of anything untoward occurring until skaven forces simultaneously struck Tobaro and Trantio. The Marksmen of Miragliano and the Birdmen of Catrazza were among those who perished in Tobaro, at the hands of the skaven of Clan Skurvy

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126289953503
The Birdmen were among the mercenaries in Tobaro when the skaven of Clan Skurvy erupted into the streets. So complete was their surprise that few of the birdmen managed to get airborne, and those that did were soon picked off by gutter runners and jezzail teams. Daddallo himself was last seen being carried to safety by Maximilian Damark, captain of Marksmen of Miragliano, as the crossbowmen retreated towards the Temple of Morr.

Pavona and Remas came under attack next, within a week of Trantio's fall.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/132131123935
Lucrezzia perished during the sacking of Pavona. Some say she committed suicide by poisoned stiletto rather than face capture by the skaven, while others believe she was killed when the ducal palace was besieged.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126405312223
Vespero and his men were last seen in Pavona, fighting a running battle with skaven gutter runners.

Even as Remas fell, the survivors were already streaming south, towards the sea. Several of the remaining city-states put aside their differences and mustered a grand fighting force in an attempt to hurl the skaven back as they crossed the Plain of Luccini.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/132131123935
Lorenzo Lupo died in battle at the Plain of Luccini, fighting alongside his rival Leopold di Lucci. It is said he died laughing, as he fought his way through a phalanx of stormvermin at the head of the survivors of the Leopard Company, Leopold's body across his shoulders.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126388134111
Pirazzo and his men made their final stand at the Battle of Luccini Plain, alongside Leopold's Leopard Company and Ricco's Republican Guard, as well as survivors from Remas, Verezzo and Luccini. The immense phalanx of pikemen and crossbowmen held back the skaven horde for almost three days, before the last of them were overwhelmed. Those few men who managed to escape joined the straggling refugee column heading towards Sartosa...

An attempt which was, unfortunately, doomed to failure, though the ratpower of no less than three lesser warlord clans, including Clan Gritus, was utterly decimated in the ensuing struggle.
Refugees, mercenaries and survivors of all stripes fled to the Pirate Principality, in a vain effort to escape the chittering horde.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/132131123935
Mydas the Mean was at the Plain of Luccini as well, and died during the retreat to Sartosa. His gold, however, made it to Sartosa along with Sheikh Yadosh.

Led by Rodrigo Delmonte, the remaining mercenary companies made their stand at Sartosa.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126186276575
Rodrigo Delmonte and the Alcatani Fellowship, like many mercenary companies, were caught by surprise when the skaven suddenly erupted from the under-empire. Unlike many companies, who either fought alongside the Princes of Tilea or else fled to safer climes, the Alcatani Fellowship set about trying to save as many of the common folk as possible.
I like to imagine an anabasis (or katabasis), with the Fellowship and a few other mercenary bands either trying to fight their way to the mountains or the coastline, leading a struggling (and ever-swelling) column of refugees. Along the way, they fight to free those unfortunate souls captured by the skaven. Perhaps they fought their way to Sartosa, pursued by the skaven.
In Sartosa, the Fellowship would make a stand, supported by Braganza's Besiegers and the galloper guns of Captain Bronzino. Perhaps it was in Sartosa where Long Drong's Slayers met their doom. The skaven would swarm the island soon enough. As the great port burned, and the Dogs of War occupied the attentions of the enemy, the Pirate Princess and her fleet, bearing the last survivors of Tilea, would put to sea, in search of safe harbor...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126257479903
Asarnil [The DragonLord] was one of those who joined the Alcatani Fellowship in their march to the sea, and then later, when they made their final stand on Sartosa. It could be that the Dragonlord found some measure of redemption in those final days, or that he died as he lived--arrogant to the last.
What is known is that he and Deathfang fought against the ravenous vermintide, and were among the last to fall, after a battalion of Stormfiends gunned the great dragon down. Yet even in death, the dragon broke his killers, crushing them beneath his vast bulk. Asarnil was last seen wielding his broken lance against a swarm of chittering stormvermin...

The survivors of Sartosa sailed towards Araby, and an uncertain future...

Sur les pirates de Sartosa

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126548350175
Aranesa Saltspite survived the events of 'Dreadfleet', and her vessel was one of those impressed into service by the Pirate Princess, as skaven forces invaded Sartosa. The Swordfysh fought its way past two Clan Moulder-mutated merwyrms and sailed west, with a hold full of gold and refugees.
Giacchino de Falco attempted to steal a fast ship when word of the skaven invasion reached Sartosa, with the intention of sailing for parts unknown. Unfortunately, his plan was thwarted by skaven gutter runners, who had been given the task of sabotaging the ships in port. de Falco raised the alarm, buying the Sartosans time to save most of their vessels. He was last seen dancing a gavotte aboard the deck of a burning vessel, as skaven clanrats closed in.
Krusher and Long Drong died in the battle for the port of Sartosa, fighting alongside the Alcatani Fellowship and Asarnil the Dragonlord. Krusher fell in battle with the mutated rat-ogre known as Spitebelly on the steps of the Temple of Manann, and Long Drong and his Slayers were consumed in the explosion which destroyed Sartosa' arsenal.
Fleur & Estella were last seen taking part in the house-to-house fighting which occupied most of the skaven forces in Sartosa. The two women, alongside Mr. Bill, were fighting their way towards the harbor when the arsenal exploded, filling the streets with smoke and fire. Their final fates are unknown.
Doc Exmelin was last seen 'tending' to the wounded in the Temple of Manann, as the skaven scampered up the steps, over the body of Krusher...

Après la défaite de la Tilée

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126388134111
Lumpin Croop's Fighting Cocks were in the Apuccini Mountains when the end came, and they fought their way steadily north, towards the Moot, harried by the skaven every step of the way. They vanished somewhere in the Border Princes, though some claimed to have seen their golden cockerel standard at Averheim, in the final days.

L’Estalie avant l’invasion

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126562123743
Grand Inquisitor de Hojeda was one of those assassinated in the months preceding the skaven invasion. His death provoked great unrest in Estalia, providing the skaven with opportunity for mischief, as they sought to weaken the country before they revealed themselves.

Lors de l’invasion de l’Estalie

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126211378655
Anyway, I figure Estalia suffered much as Tilea did, with skaven erupting from hidden tunnels and bowers. Politically fractured and conflict-prone, the city-states would not have allied in time to mount a coordinated defense. One by one, the great cities would have fallen, with refugees fleeing either to the ports of Bilbali and Magritta, or else to the Irrana Mountains.
Magritta, bastion of the cult of Myrmidia, would hold out longer than Bilbali, as the Knights of the Blazing Sun fought to save as many citizens as possible, aided by the Guild of Duelists and the enigmatic Lady Khemalla of Copher, a servant of the queen of Silver Pinnacle. As ships bearing refugees and the wealth of Estalia set out for the coast of Araby, Magritta falls at last to the skaven. The city's defenders make their final stand on the steps of the temple of Myrmidia, where they are joined in their last moments by a mysterious woman clad in bronze and gold...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126562123743
Isabella Giovanna Luccelli fell in battle as the skaven stormed the temple of Myrmidia in Magritta, leading the Order of the Eagle and the Knights of the Blazing Sun against the ratmen. Some say that she was possessed by the spirit of Myrmidia herself, in those final hours.
Alonso Diaz de Mirajo led the Guild of Duelists in the defense of Magritta, and was present at the temple of Myrmidia when it fell. He was last seen fighting by the side of Isabella Giovanna Luccelli, in the shadow of the great statue of Myrmidia, as the skaven closed in.
Maria de Salvo was present at the fall of Magritta. She stalked the rooftops, hunting the leaders of the skaven host, dispatching them wherever she found them. Her efforts added hours to the survival of the city, though her final fate is unknown.
Juan Federico died during the defense of the Tagos Gate, when skaven saboteurs blew up the river-side walls, killing many of the city's defenders. Federico and the Order of the Righteous Spear held the breach for several hours, before numbers and exhaustion saw them overwhelmed. Federico was the last to fall to the blades of the advancing stormvermin.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126405312223
Florin and Lorenzo were at loose ends in Magritta, when the end came, and were among those who died defending the temple of Myrmidia.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126211378655
The mountain fortresses of theIrranan hill-folk alone would weather the vermintide, resisting the skaven until the world's end.

Après l’invasion de l’Estalie

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126562123743
Francisco Cortez was in Plascia, in Lustria, when the moon fell, and died in the resulting cataclysm.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126562123743
Where Don Lomente fell, none know. Though some say he was riding still, when the end came, fighting the skaven wherever he found them.

Araby

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125514470111
Araby fell to the skaven, in much the same way as Tilea and Estalia. It just took a little longer. Araby's resistance is what likely bought Bretonnia and the Empire a few extra months of skaven-free living, but in the end, the caliphates were too isolated to make a concentrated resistance. The tribes of the deserts probably survived without too much trouble, but the cities likely fell one after the next, as the skaven traveled through the ancient qanat-systems to the city cisterns and either (a) poisoned the city's water supply, or (b) poured out of every well and privy, armed to the teeth.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126607860959
The Golden Magus put to sea as soon the skaven flooded the streets of Copher. Unfortunately, it wasn't soon enough, as skaven gutter runners stowed away on his ship in an attempt to steal his three mystic urns. What happened next is unknown, as the vessel, and all aboard it, were consumed in a sorcerous storm which drew the burning remains of the ship up into the clouds, never to come down.
The Prince of Thieves was in Copher as well, when the skaven erupted from the ancient waterways. He and his guild met the skaven in the qanats, and fought the invaders beneath the streets. Whether the Prince and his men survived is unknown.
Jasmine led her people in battle against the skaven in Martek, where her abilities proved almost equal to the task of driving the invaders back. Unfortunately, she was murdered by skaven assassins even as she rode down a clawband of fleeing stormvermin.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126277690847
Gilead and Fithvael were in Araby, in the city of Lashiek, when the skaven erupted from the qanats. As the Corsair City reeled, the two elves fought to rally the humans to muster some sort of defense, but they were forced to abandon the city. Alongside Al Muktar and his Desert Dogs, Gilead and Fithvael led what survivors they could into the relative safety of the desert. Not a single skaven who pursued them into the desert returned to say where the survivors had gone.

Sinba'ahd was among those (including Gilead and Al-Muktar) who fought their way out of Lashiek and into the desert.
Malik died alone and unknown amid the carnage in Copher, after killing ten of the thirteen skaven assassins dispatched to kill him. He fell to the twin blades of the Deathmaster, after a brutal rooftop duel.

Sur la Révolte de Mallobaude

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126383679711
The Red Duke did not side with Mallobaude. He had his own plans, and they didn't include serving the usurper's jumped-up byblow. Unfortunately for the Duke, those plans were derailed when Nagash came back; unable to resist Nagash's will, the Red Duke was drawn across the mountains to Sylvania.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126529771743
The Dark Knight and the Banshee fell during the Bretonnian civil war, when the Red Duke attempted to take advantage of the chaos for his own ends. The Red Duke's interference was not appreciated by Arkhan the Black, and the lich reduced the vampire nobleman's undead retinue to ash and dust, and put the maddened vampire to flight. The Dark Knight and the Banshee were among those dead things laid permanently to rest by Arkhan's sorceries.

En Bretonnie, avant la résurrection de Nagash

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126420737247
Sadly, the Holy Knight fell early in the End Times, slain by Krell at the behest of Heinrich Kemmler, during the razing of Mercal, prior to Kemmler joining Arkhan's forces in the Vaults. The Knight fought valiantly against Krell, but was no match for the murderous wight. His armored husk was raised to join the Doomed Legion, in service to his killer. He was finally laid to rest in the battle of La Maisontaal Abbey, by Abbot Bagrain.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126383679711
When Gilles came back, Bretonnia was already on the cusp of disaster. Nurgle's plagues had ravaged the population, and the unbound dead were a danger to those who were left. Chaos raiders fought their way inland from the northern coasts, as skaven crossed the Irrana Mountains from the south. With a heavy heart, Gilles dispatched his best, most valorous knights to reinforce the Empire, and readied himself to save what he could of his kingdom.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/130541968863
Roland [le Maréchal] died fighting the monstrous Nurgle champion known as the Pox-Knight, during the Glottkin's invasion of the Wasteland and the surrounding regions. The Pox-Knight would later be slain by Archaon for attempting to usurp his authority, as mentioned in the book, 'Lord of the End Times'.

En Bretonnie, après la destruction d’Ulthuan

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126371052511
Albion was drowned beneath the tidal waves thrown up by the sinking of Ulthuan. It and all its folk perished in the ensuing disaster, with the only survivors being those few individuals not actually on the island, such as the druid Hengus and the giants Bologs and Cachtorr, as well as those truthsayers and dark emissaries at work in other places.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126378811103
Hengus and his titanic companions had reached Bretonnia by the End Times

L’invasion finale de la Bretonnie

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126383679711
Only a few of the ensuing acts of heroism and defiance are recorded as one by one, the provinces fall. Bordeleaux and the other coastal provinces, including Couronne are swept aside by a massive invasion, led by Slaanesh's chosen son, Sigvald.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126420737247
Duke Gilon fell defending Aquitaine against the advancing hosts of Styrkaar of the Sortsvinaer. As the latter stormed ashore, he and his bodyguard engaged Duke Gilon and his knights, and the ageing Gilon fell to Styrkaar's blade. His son, Sir Richmont, managed to rally his father's remaining forces, and, after rescuing Iselda from the newly erected pleasure pavilions of Vandred the Cruel, retreated in the hopes of fortifying the town of Aquitaine. There, they were joined by Gravain the Fair, who came to lend his sword to the defense of the town.
Vandred laid siege to Aquitaine, as Styrkaar carried on eastwards. The town resisted for a fortnight, before the Red Three--specially trained siege giants, bought from the Dawi Zharr--were unleashed on the town walls. As the giants tore down the walls and the Chaos forces surged in, Gravain led his men in a counter attack, and accounted for two of the beasts, before the third crushed him beneath its black iron claws. Sir Richmont met Vandred in single combat as the town burned, and killed the Chaos lord, even as the latter's sword pierced his heart. Even then, Iselda's magics nearly turned the tide, before she was overcome by the magics of the Keeper of Secrets, Amin'Hrith.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126420737247
Quenelles was ravaged by the dead, the skaven and Chaos during the End Times. With its Duke fighting in the Empire, the duchy was left in the hands of Guillaume of Grenoullie, who, while valiant, was no match for the monstrous Sigvald and his beastmen allies. Aloys of Montjoie died in the ensuing siege, a victim of the opportunistic sword-eunuchs of Sigvald, even as the Chaos lord cut down Guillaume in single combat. Quenelles was reduced to ashes. The survivors were led towards Massif Orcal by Elanor, who sought uncertain sanctuary for her people in the mountains. They were pursued by the warherds of the beastmen, who rampaged on into Bastonne, as Sigvald led his forces east, towards Parravon...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125510216415
Ushoran...is a tough case. It depends on whether you think he's actually alive or not. If he died during the fall of Mourkain, then the question is moot. If he's alive then I think he would have sought out somewhere isolated, where he could rally his folk without interference from either Nagash or the skaven. Sylvania and the ruins of Mourkain are right out.
So Ushoran goes to Mousillon. The ghoul-tribes which lurk beneath the city rise up at his call, and the debased knights who rule there join him in return for the Dark Kiss. The Strygany migrate west, over the Grey Mountains, and with them come the survivors of lost Strigos, including Gashnag, the infamous Black Prince. A new kingdom, smaller than Strigos, rises, even as Bretonnia crumbles beneath the assaullts of Chaos. Ushoran, eager to protect his new kingdom, sends word to King Gilles, via his old ally, Abhorash, proposing an alliance, even as the armies of skaven sweep north from Estalia, and the forces of Sigvald the Magnificent invade Parravon...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126383679711
Gilles retreats to Parravon with his surviving forces, as Mousilion falls to the undead and Brionne and Carcassonne are swarmed by skaven. Gaudaron Keep holds out for several weeks, under the command of the Grail Knight, Sir Amalric of Gaudaron, but eventually, it too falls. Amalric retreats towards Brionne, but is cut off by the skaven, and assassinated by agents of Clan Eshin.
Abhorash arrives in Mousilion, having fought his way across Araby and Estalia with a handful of chosen followers. Ushoran and Abhorash repel numerous attacks on Mousilion, but even they can't hold it forever. The Strigoi propose to retreat into the ghoul-warrens beneath the city, and there take the fight to the skaven. Abhorash decides to take his warriors, as well as those vampire-knights who wish to follow him to break the siege of Parravon, in order to make good on his debt to Gilles.
Bastonne is the next to fall as the Beastslayer rallies his folk and retreats to the Grey Mountains.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126378811103
Hengus and his titanic companions had reached Bretonnia by the End Times, but their long journey came to a sad end in Bastonne, where the forces of Chaos laid siege to Duke Bohemond's keep. Hengus and the giants fought alongside Tristan le Troubadour, Jules le Jongleur, and the Beastslayer himself against a massive army of beastmen. Bologs was the first to go, locked in battle with a massive Ghorgon. Cachtorr fell next, buried beneath the walls of the keep, in a vain attempt to keep them from collapsing on the unconscious form of Hengus. Tristan died last, his heroic voice silenced forever by slash of a crude axe.
Bastonne fell some hours later, as Duke Bohemond, accompanied by a morose Jules, led the survivors towards the Grey Mountains...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126273635807
Bertrand Le Brigand died during the siege of Parravon, after putting a blessed arrow through the eye of Amin'Hrith, the Soulflayer. The Keeper of Secrets shattered the ramparts of the walled city and Bertrand was crushed beneath the debris. As the daemon capered towards him, he dragged himself from the rubble, past the broken bodies of his loyal friends and companions, and readied his remaining arrow. With his final shot, he pierced the sinful brain of the daemon and freed the trapped souls of the dwarfs of Karak Vlag, who rampaged among the Slaaneshi host before fading away.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126383679711
The Siege of Parravon lasts for several weeks and the only respite comes when the dead ride out from Mousilion, leaving it for the skaven and Chaos to fight over. Led by Abhorash, the dead break the Chaos lines. Abhorash kills Styrkaar, Sigvald's second in command, allowing Gilles and his remaining knights to lead those they can into the mountains and La Maisontaal Abbey...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126420737247
In the aftermath of Arkhan's assault [on la Maisontaal], Bagrain set about rebuilding the ruined abbey, and was nearly finished when the remaining defenders of Bretonnia sought shelter behind its crumbled walls.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126378811103
Since Albion is gone and its people done with, can you provide closure on the activities of the Truthsayers and Dark emissaries?
Well, the latter two groups were locked in battle with one another, even as the End Times began. As things began to spiral out of control, Bel'akor took the initiative and, alongside the Dark Emissaries, hunted down those surviving Truthsayers, in the months prior to his attack on the Oak of Ages. The surviving Dark Emissaries were abandoned by their dark master soon after, and left to make their own way. Some joined up with Chaos warbands, while others vanished into the confusion of the End Times.

Cathay

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125443174623
The way I figure it, the Great Bastion likely went down around the same time the Auric Bastion fell, most likely due to the siege-craft of the Chaos Dwarfs. The Imperial court of Cathay as well as its bureaucratic system was supposed to be riddled with vampires and Tzeentch-worshippers, so any initial effective resistance was probably hampered by the in-fighting and scheming. A few hundred executions later, and the Dragon Emperor had everything moving in the right direction, likely with the help of the undead.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126593750495

Zhao Fei led the defense of the Great Bastion during the initial Chaos assault. He was killed on the thirty-third day of the bombardment, when one of the vast doom engines of the renegade Chaos Dwarf Hothgar struck the Bastion and began to pry it apart. As its iron-plated maw opened, to disgorge Chaos Dwarfs, Khazags, Dreaded Wo, and Hobgoblin warriors, Zhao Fei led a counterattack, and was slain in the ensuing melee by Rykarth the Unbreakable.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/128000544735

[the sleeping army of Terracotta Warriors] fought and were destroyed by the war-engines of the Chaos Dwarfs, during the initial invasion. The ceramic soldiers were powerful, but no match for the ingenuity of the Dawi Zharr and the brute ferocity of the Chaos forces they supported.

Of course, by then, it's too little, too late. The Bastion has been turned from a wall into a fortress by the Chaos Dwarfs, allowing the forces of Chaos to raid out into the heartland of Cathay with impunity. They burn the monasteries of the war-monks and plunder their stupas, and scour the surrounding farmlands as the Imperial Army fights a defensive battle, trying to buy time for the southern provinces to mobilize and send reinforcements.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126593750495

Dalan-Tai was last seen leading his tribesmen against the savage horsemen of the Khazags, not long after the fall of the Bastion. Whether he survived this initial clash or not is unknown, but his warriors continued to bleed the Chaos forces for weeks afterward, harrying them as they laid siege to Weijin.

By this time, however, Clan Eshin is assassinating every official worth the name in both Cathay and Nippon, and hampering the military effort through sabotage and murder. The Dragon-Emperor personally leads the Celestial Guard into the warrens beneath the Fragrant Harbor, effectively annihilating the skaven presence in Cathay, but only one in ten of his warriors survive.

Chu-Ye Xian was among those members of the Imperial Court assassinated by Clan Eshin, prior to the razing of the warrens beneath Fragrant Harbor.

Cheng Long was last seen descending into the skaven warren beneath Weijin alone. What occurred there is unknown, but no skaven survived, and the warren collapsed in on itself, preventing any others from following the monk into the depths.

The Dragon-Emperor meets the enemy in combat before the very gates of the capital and somehow manages to throw them back time and again, as the plagues of Nurgle run riot through the streets and Slaaneshi courtesans corrupt his advisers. The Chaos forces await only the coming of the Chaos Dwarfs, whose guns can breach the walls of the city.
And then Grimgor arrives. The Ironhide has broken what's left of the Great Bastion and thrown down the Chaos Dwarf garrison. His ranks swelled by the tribes of Hobgobla Khan and the forces of the defeated Necksnapper, Grimgor carves a bloody swathe through the Chaos held territories. The War for the East truly begins here, as orcs pour into Cathay from the Badlands. Savage orcs storm from the jungles of the far south, led by Wurrzag. The capital falls, riven by constant battle and brute-sorcery, as the Dragon-Emperor and his remaining Celestial Guard fight to clear a path for the survivors to escape to Fragrant Harbor, and the great treasure-fleets which wait there. Where they will go from there, none know.

Tian Shi led the purging of the Imperial Court in those final days, seeking out the followers of the Dark Gods with the aid of the vampire, Naaima, handmaiden to the Queen of Mysteries. He stood beside the Dragon Emperor during the Fall of Weijin, and was last seen aboard the Emperor's vessel, summoning a magical wind to carry the fleet to safety.

Huan Bei fought beside the Emperor against the skaven and Chaos alike, only to perish in the fall of Weijin, protecting the Emperor from Grimgor's savage assault. He held off the beast long enough for the Dragon-Emperor to retreat, and got his skull cleaved in two for his trouble.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/128000628191

The Brass Titans were mustered to throw back the invasion, and many fell to either Chaos siege-engines or the twisted constructs and specially mutilated siege-giants of the Chaos Dwarfs. Others were sabotaged by the skaven, or destroyed by the packs of lumbering giants which followed Grimgor. The remaining titans followed the Dragon Emperor's fleet into the sea, when Cathay was abandoned.

In the ruins of the capital, orcs and Chaos worshippers clash again and again, until the dark gods turn away in frustration, and Gork and Mork laugh in satisfaction. Let the puny humans have the west...the east is green.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/128000628191
Those Celestial Dragons which took part in the initial resistance to the invaders were felled by the magics of the Chaos horde, as well as the ravages of those fell beasts mustered from the Wastes--Chaos-tainted wyverns and drakes, bilious toad-dragons and monstrous Shaggoths. Those who remained retreated into the Mountains of Heaven, defending those high peaks and all who sought refuge upon them until the end of days.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126499991775
The Monkey King was doing what the Monkey King does, i.e. ruining schemes and wrecking stuff. It was the Monkey King who piled the heads of seventy-seven Chaos champions in the shadow of the Great Bastion, and the Monkey King who freed the firewyrms enslaved by the Chaos Dwarfs manning the Bastion, thus distracting the Dawi Zharr as Grimgor attacked. And it was the Monkey King who felled Grydal, Lord of the Snaegr in single combat.

Nippon

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125504534495
Nippon was the center of Clan Eshin activity, even as Lustria was the heart of Clan Pestilens, and suffered a similar fate. When the great skaven invasion began, Clan Eshin systematically isolated Nippon from its closest neighbors--killing traders, wrecking merchant ships, murdering abassadors--in order to preserve it for their own entertainment, Not for them mass enslavement and looting, but instead a carefully orchestrated campaign of political/social/economic/military deconstruction.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126460147167

Yoritomo Ieyasu was assassinated by Clan Eshin, prior to Grimgor's invasion. As shogun, he was a prime target for the skaven, and his death led to much upheaval in Nippon.

O-Sayumi fought the skaven wherever she found them, and freed their captives when she could. It was she who led many of the coastal folk inland, towards the mountains, and defended them against any who sought to bar their way.

Sarutori Hanzo led the fight against the skaven, hunting them across the rooftops and through their warrens, even as he tracked those creatures responsible for the death of Ieyasu. His skills were put to the test as he fought the assassins of Clan Eshin wherever he found them, and he was hunting them still, when the world ended.

Unfortunately, [the skaven] reckoned without Grimgor, who, upon reaching Fragrant Harbor, on the coast of Cathay in pursuit of the Dragon-Emperor, found not enemies but allies--the ramshackle fleets of orc freebooterz, drawn to the coast by the whispers of Mork and the shouts of Gork. Since orcs have a limited concept of direction, Grimgor set his new fleet a-sail towards the closest landmass--Nippon.
By the time the Waaagh reached the shores of Nippon, Clan Eshin had effectively rendered the realm defenseless. While isolated warlords and mountain clans were able to resist the skaven, there was no force organized enough to prevent Grimgor and his army from making landfall. The fleets of Nippon burned in their ports, and the major cities fell soon after, as Clan Eshin mobilized its forces to meet this new threat to their sovereignty. What happened next is unknown, save that barely three in ten of the greenskins survived, and Clan Eshins strongholds had been razed. Grimgor, driven by the will of Gork, led his battered forces back to their ships and the human survivors began the long fight to purge their lands of the remaining skaven--a fight they were doomed to lose.

Empress Jungi appeared in the final days of Grimgor's invasion, and it was her magics which protected the mountain fortresses of her people, by the will of the Kami. When the threat had ended, she swept down from the hills, and led her people in battle against the shattered Eshin forces.

The Red Ronin took a heavy toll on Grimgor's forces, before he fell in battle with the black orc warrior, Durkol Eye-Gouger. Durkol did not long survive his opponent, for the bloodsword Revenge found his heart, even as his choppas cut the Ronin down.

Between Ulthuan sinking and the chunks of moon slamming into the oceans around Lustria and the Southlands, probably most of them that weren't connected to the main landmass. Even Nippon probably sank, before the end.

Ind

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125504534495
Ind, meanwhile, suffered much as Tilea and Estalia and Araby. Clans Eshin and Clan Volkn destabilized the various princedoms and kingdoms or else slaughtered them, even as the forces of Chaos invaded from the jungles and seas--Arbaal the Undefeated stacked skulls higher than the great stupas as Dechala the Denied One roused the pleasure-cults of southern Ind in mass-revolt. Various champions rose and fell...the flying ship of Wulfrik the Wanderer was seen more than once, as was the great drake, Galrauch. Heroes fought and died, unknown and unremembered, as the vast cities of Ind burned and filled the sky with ashes.

Karishna was slain by Skulltaker, at the siege of Lakshana, when the forces of the Blood God erupted from the holds of the great butcher-boats of the Khornate warfleet. The two immortals dueled for several hours, before Karishna faltered, and Skulltaker claimed his head.

Urjana was killed by Arbaal the Undefeated, after he expended his arrows on Karanak's pack of flesh hounds. Urjana slew three hundred of the daemons before he was brought to battle by the Undefeated One, and beheaded.

Parashuruma fell in battle with Wulfrik the Wanderer. The Holy Slayer was among those heroes who met the Wanderer's challenge and perished, in the early days of the invasion.

Mhogli was among those heroes hunted by Karnak, the Hound of Vengeance, on behalf of Khorne. The great hound pursued Mhogli into the jungles of Khuresh, where both disappeared from history.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126759700959
The people of Ind, and their gods, were fighting right up until the last hours. Their access to the sea was cut off, and the only route of retreat was inland, into the jungles and mountains, where they were still fighting the legions of the Blood God when the world ended.
In a way, Ind actually managed to pull a draw--it wasn't completely overrun, and it was still in the fight when Middenheim blew up.

Rykarth the Unbreakable led the Chaos Dwarf forces at the Great Bastion. It was he who swept an entire section of the vast wall clean of defenders, and he later hunted down the last of the war-monks who guarded the inner chambers of the Bastion. Rykarth was slain in battle with Grimgor Ironhide, after a duel which lasted hours. As the sun set over the burning ruin of the Bastion, Grimgor hung Rykarth's broken form from the parapets with the very chains the Chaos Dwarf had used to bind his ogre slaves.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126529643231
Hothgar [the Renegade] was embraced by the Dawi Zharr, and was in nominal command of the vast siege engines used to shatter the Great Bastion of Cathay. After Grimgor's invasion, his fate and current whereabouts are unknown, though a single Doom Engine, badly battered and partially aflame, was seen rumbling northward, away from the Bastion as the orcs spilled through.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125470827999
The way I see it, Grimgor didn't begin his war against the Chaos Dwarfs until after he'd gotten the Wind of Beasts, and the ogres on side. Then he'd begin the harrying of the holds...attacking every citadel and temple-city between Cathay and the Badlands. Isolated, arrogant and paranoid as they were, the Dawi Zharr wouldn't have taken the threat seriously until it was too late. With every victory by Grimgor's forces, there'd be more slave revolts, more attacks by the orc tribes of the Badlands, and more infighting among the Chaos Dwarfs as rivals took advantage of the upheaval to settle old scores or improve their position.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126321371359
Drazoath and his legion were among the first Chaos Dwarfs to feel Grimgor's fury, as the Waaagh crossed the mountains. While the Ashen One defended the Black Fortress fiercely, it was all for naught as Grimgor unleashed the Wind of Beasts and tore down the citadel, burying its defenders amid the rubble. Drazoath was hurled from his mount as Grimgor split Cinderbreath's skull, and the sorcerer-prophet was soon overwhelmed by the green tide.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126311610079
Astragoth was betrayed by Ghorth the Cruel, in order to usurp his position, as the war against Grimgor proceeded. Astragoth's engine-suit was sabotaged, and the high priest left a living statue, unable to act or speak as Ghorth took his place. During the destruction of the temple of Hashut, Astragoth's stony form was shattered by parties unknown.

Hashut, while powerful, would have his hands full with Gork and Mork; for the first time in a long time the latter duo would be fully aligned and that would make them a power to be reckoned with--which would explain why the Chaos gods kept their distance. It would quickly devolve into a stalemate, leaving the war to be settled by mortal arms alone.
Grimgor would have the numbers by this time, as well as the weight of destiny. With Wurrzag on his side, preaching of the Once and Future Git, the Dawi Zharr would quickly lose control of their slaves and possibly their slave-masters both; the hobgoblins turned coat once, they might well do so again.
In the end, Zharr Naggrund would be the scene of the final battle, as millions of freed greenskin and ogre slaves assault the center of their masters' empire. While the weapons and bound daemons of the latter give them an edge, it wouldn't be enough. Grimgor and his coterie storm the great ziggurat of Hashut, bathing its obsidian steps in blood. The sorcerer-lords, bereft of Hashut's aid fall to the raw power of the Wind of Beasts and its monstrous wielder.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126311610079
Gorduz Backstabber turned on his masters at the Battle of Hashut's Maw, when he and his sneaky gits opened the great eastern gate and allowed their eastern cousins into Zharr Naggrund. Alongside Ghazak Khan, Gorduz led the hobgoblins of the temple-city in attacking their former masters. Gorduz paid for his treachery, however, as Zhatan the Black crushed the life out of him on the steps of the temple of Hashut.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126614494687
Bragg lives up to his name and guts Zhatan, before leaving the dying warlord to the mercies of the gnoblars and goblins. Zhatan's final hours are unpleasant, to say the least.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126289953503
Ghorth the Cruel was among the defenders of the Temple of Hashut during Grimgor's siege of Zharr Naggrund. It was he who took command of the defenses of the Tower of Zharr when his servant, Zhatan the Black fell in battle with Bragg the Gutsman at the Ziggurat of Nine Hundred Sorrows. Ghorth was later brained by Borgut Facebeater on the dais of the great statue of Hashut, and his body was hurled out over a teeming sea of newly freed slaves by Golgfag Maneater.

There would be survivors, but the empire of the Chaos Dwarfs would be trodden to dust beneath the feet of their former slaves.

I assume [Ruglud and his Armored Orcs] joined Grimgor.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126562180063

Grotfang was killed by Grimgor, during the latter's initial march west. Grotfang challenged Grimgor, and paid the price. The Iron Fist orcs, now led by Grotfang's lieutenant, Snagga, were subsumed into Grimgor's growing horde. Snagga was among those orc warriors felled by Zhatan the Black, in the battle for Zharr Naggrund. Oddgit, despite his power, was killed by Grimgor for being mouthy; the night goblin had his head twisted off, and his body fed to the squigs.

Uzguz and Nazgob joined Grimgor willingly after Grotfang's death. Uzguz and his boarboyz were at the forefront of every battle, until the invasion of the Dark Lands, when they charged the massed artillery of the Black Fortress and were blown to pieces. Nazgob fell in the same battle, when his magics proved no match for those of Drazhoath the Ashen.

Oglok joined Grimgor's Waaagh, after Morglum's death. Oglok was among those orc champions who fell to the axe of the Chaos Dwarf, Rykarth the Unbreakable, at the Great Bastion.

Grotsnag was forced into servitude by Grimgor, and made a scout for the Waaagh, He and his wolfboyz were among those greenskins left in Nippon, when Grimgor departed. What fate befell them after that is unknown.

Grabnatz blew both himself and poor Gulag up, in an attempt to impress Grimgor with his magical might.

Badruk joined Grimgor's Waaagh in the east, and fought his way around the world with the Ironhide. He was among those orc champions killed by Zhatan the Black in Zharr Naggrund, before Bragg the Gutsman ended the Chaos Dwarf's life.

Da Hunta was with Skarsnik, when the latter disappeared. The wolf-rider and lupine coterie were acting as scouts for Skarsnik's forces, as they departed the mountains.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/125233376991

Had you had the time to include him, how would you have included Skarsnik in to Lord of the End Times? Any interactions with Grimgor or the other 'heros' you can imagine offhand?

Definitely Grimgor. It would have been mainly in that one chapter from Grimgor's POV, and would've had them bickering over how to do things, with Wurrzag trying to keep them from killing one another. There might've been a bit with Malekith as well, where the Eternity King sees not just the Wind of Beasts, but Gork and Mork, squeezed down into their chosen avatars. Too, at the end, when the orcs and ogres go thundering off, chasing the Chaos forces, Skarsnik would've been in charge, riding on Golgfag's shoulders. That's pretty much it.

See, now I'm annoyed. I could have done so many more cool things with that book, if only I'd thought to have a spreadsheet of every still-living Warhammer character made up. I could have included them all. It'd have been nothing but namedrops and easter eggs for 200-odd pages and it would have been fantastic. Ah well.

Ogres

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126529643231

Ghark Ironskin and Braugh Slavelord were among those ogres who fought against Grimgor on behalf of the Chaos Dwarfs. The Ironskin Tribe made their stand at the Sentinels, in an attempt to break the invaders' momentum. Ghark was subsequently cut down by Grimgor Ironhide in single combat, and Braugh was humbled by the combined efforts of Wurrzag and Golgfag, who strangled Braugh with his own sorcerous chains.

Thanks for answering all of these questions, I love getting a bigger view of the warhammer world. Anyways, what happens to the ogre kingdoms, the gold tooths and their allied tribes? and any word on the other 2 ogre special characters?

They were subsumed into Grimgor's horde, or else broken by the horde and scattered. Bragg the Gutsman probably joined Grimgor, we just didn't see him. Skrag, however, could have suffered one of two fates...either he backed Grimgor as an avatar of the Great Maw, and joined the other ogre butchers and orc shamans in Grimgor's coterie, or he didn't. In the latter case, I expect he and Wurrzag got into a dust-up, until Grimgor drowned him in his own cauldron of blood.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126311610079

Skrag was killed by Grimgor after refusing to aknowledge him as an avatar of the Great Maw. Skrag attempted to butcher Wurrzag and after a brutal struggle, Grimgor drowned him in his own cauldron of blood. Afterwards, his corpse was fed to the Gorgers who had once followed him.

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126726466527

Malron Eyebiter, Blaut Feastmaster and Bauldig Mountaineater were among those ogre tyrants who joined Grimgor on the death of Greasus Goldtooth. Bauldig was killed in Zharr Naggrund by the sorcery of Ghorth the Cruel, while Grimgor was forced to kill Malron after the destruction of the Temple of Hashut, when the old ogre tried to usurp his rule. Blaut was still alive when the Beast-Waaagh was transported to Middenheim. His final fate is unknown.

Marrant.

Elspeth Drake, sadly, was an amethyst wizard and suffered the same fate as the rest of her lot, when Nagash freed the Wind of Death. She was already well along that path, according to her background, and I can't see her NOT succumbing to the unholy changes Nagash's actions wrought.
That said, given her raw power, she was able to weather it better than most, and was one of the few remaining Empire wizards of any real ability when Archaon came knocking on Averheim's walls. Elspeth, like Ungrim Ironfist and Mathias Thulmann died in the ensuing battle.
Whether she stayed dead, well...that's another matter.

Thyrus Gormann disappeared at some point between Nagash's resurrection and the fall of the Auric Bastion, lost in the chaos of the Empire's retreat from Kislev. Some say he fought his way north, bringing the light of hope to the Kislevites and eventually joined the Tsarina in her final stand. Others suspect he was killed by the creature known as the Nameless, or perhaps even the traitor, Balthasar Gelt.

Stepan Rasin died during the last charge of the Ungols, as they sought to open a gap in Archaon's lines so that the Tzarina might escape. He was speared from his horse by a Chaos knight.

Nains

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126456571615
The holds of the Norse Dwarfs came under siege early on in the End Times, by the forces of Chaos. Valkia the Bloody led the brass legions of Khorne against Karak Drak. While the dwarfs resisted for several weeks, it was all for naught; with no reinforcements forthcoming, and no escape possible, the hold fell, and those few survivors could only retreat deeper into the ancient caverns beneath the hold, and from there into the underway.
The tribes of the Aeslings, Vargs, Sarls and Baersonlings were mobilized by various Chaos champions, including Haargoth the Blooded One, against the lesser holds of Kraka Dorden and Kraka Ravnvake. These weathered the storm of Chaos better than Kraka Drak, but they too fell in their turn as Valkia led her legions across the mountains, to the gates of each hold in turn. Isolated, the holds resisted nonetheless, and those who could, escaped into the underway, where they joined the growing throng which retreated towards Sjoktraken. Satisfied with the tally of skulls and beards collected, Valkia turned her attentions towards Naggaroth...
Kraka Onsmotek was destroyed from within, though whether this was due to the actions of the enemy or the dwarfs themselves is unknown. Whatever the cause, none escaped to tell the tale.
The port of Sjoktraken, spared the wrath of Khorne, fell instead to the plague-fleet of Gutrot Spume, even as a fleet of dwarf ironclads dove into the depths of the Frozen Sea...

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126396104415
Grimm [Burloksson] was among the defenders of Zhufbar when it fell to the skaven. His final experiments included multi-barreled drakeguns for the hold's Irondrakes, remote-controlled gyrocopters, and what came to be known as 'searwater' a burning liquid, sprayed from a nozzle, that could eat through even the thickest armor. Unfortunately, for all of his inventiveness, these new weapons made little impact on the enemy as a full five clans' worth of skaven troops laid siege to the hold, from above and below.
It was Grimm who, as defeat loomed, set off the explosives which unleashed the Black Water into the hold, drowning the remaining Zhufbarak and their enemies alike, and sealing the hold and its secrets away from any who might seek to plunder them.

Durzak Dragonback, Bazrak Bolgan, and Skeggi Threkkson all perished in the battle which would become known as Bugman's Last Stand. Deep below Zhufbar, as Grimm Burloksson fought his way towards the great engines which would cause the hold to flood, Bugman and his rangers fought to hold off the skaven as they poured out of the depths. Bazrak fell to the firepower of the Stormfiends, and Skeggi was killed by a mob of maddened clanrats. Durzak was among the last, and made his stand atop the Southern Arch, which marked the entrance to the inner hold. The Dragonback banner was seen to fall as a horde of elite Stormvermin climbed the arch, and rushed the brave dwarf from all sides.

Alfrik [Ranulfsson (King of Karak-Hirn)] and Byrrnoth [Grundadrakk (King of Barak Varr)] both fell with their people, as proper kings ought. In Karak-Hirn a full three-score skaven thrall clans were broken, and the better part of both Clans Gnaw and Skully died, their warlords falling to Alfrik's axe before the dwarfs collapsed the hold in on itself. Barak Varr, like Zhufbar, was flooded, though whether this was due to the efforts of the skaven or the dwarfs none know. Byrrnoth and his elite Hammerers were last seen fighting against the green-furred stormvermin of Clan Gowjyer as the hold flooded.

Grombrindal's fate is detailed in Lord of the End Times. He joins the Zhufbarak in Middenheim, to lead them in their final battle. Josef Bugman is there as well, in spirit, though how and where the determined ranger and brewer fell, none know.

What I would have liked, had I the space, would have been simply to show him rallying those elves left in Athel Loren and leading a fighting retreat deeper into the forests, as the remainder of Ka'Bhanda's Bloodhunt pursues. He puts an arrow through a Bloodthirster's eye, etc.
Nothing fancy. Just a little moment, like Imrik's. As the world dissolves around them, he's the last king of the elves, a king for a few hours or days at most, but a king nonetheless.

Please, what was the fate of these High Elves during the ETs: Kelendar, Alatar, Imrallion, and Salendor.
Kelendar died during the daemon-storm which swept over Ulthuan, early in the End Times. Alatar and the others were killed during the civil war, as they fell either to the enemy, or, as in the case of Imrallion, to the madness of Khaine.

Yolath the Terrible fell during the attack on the King's Glade by Ka'Bandha and the Blood Hunt. He was killed by a pack of bloodletters after a bloodthirster smashed his great eagle from the sky.
Wychwethyl the Wild fell in battle with the beastmen as they assaulted Athel Loren early in the End Times. He was slain by Morghur, Lord of Skulls, at the burning of Tyr Edrell.
Scaw the Falconer died defending the Sylamel Tree from a pack of armored minotaurs, after the coronation of the Eternity King. His was a lonely death, unwitnessed and forgotten in the madness which followed.
Gruath the Beastmaster died during the Blood Hunt's assault on the King's Glade. He and his pack fell defending the Glade from the bloodthirster, Skul'gath the Huntsman and his flesh hounds.
Gwercus the Treeman too died during the Blood Hunt's assault. He was torn asunder by Ka'Bandha.

After the Incarnates were transported to Middenheim, Alith Anar mobilized the remaining elves to meet the daemonic intruders, a number of elven heroes rose to fight alongside him. Athelwyn, Thalandor, Lothlann, Sceolan and Elthryn were among them.
Thalandor and his great eagle were struck from the sky by a bloodthirster of the Blood Hunt, who smashed them to the ground with its brazen flail. As Gwandor twitched in his death-throes, a bloodied Thalandor drove his spear through the daemon's skull, before collapsing beside the body of his steed.
Lothlann fell as Alith Anar rallied the remaining Glade Riders. Hacked by daemon blades, Lothlann nonetheless held the sacred banner of Athel Loren upright, even in death.
Sceolan joined the battle, and he and his kindred of the Oak Glades threw back the bloodletters of the Blood Hunt, allowing Alith Anar to retreat from the King's Glade. Sceolan was last seen fighting alongside the Shadow King in defense of the Oak of Ages, as were Athelwyn and Elthryn.

Kastragar was later cut down by Caldrath the Black. The assassin survived the fall of Karond Kar, but his eventual fate is unknown.
Mortharor's black ark was sunk by the Chaos merwyrm Orgalyx the Vast during the evacuation of Naggaroth. The merwyrm trapped the ark in its glistening coils and dragged the vessel, and its captain, to the bottom of the Sea of Malice.

I assume [Gor-Rok] was fighting in defense of said city. The sad fact is, an almost-impossible-to-kill saurus isn't going to make much of a difference against millions of skaven.
That said, I like to imagine that Gor-Rok fought until he was buried beneath a scurrying tide and was forced to dig his way out of a mountain of corpses, just as the moon blew up. He gets crushed beneath a chunk of moon, and by the time he manages to chop his way out of the steaming moon-bits, everybody has either (a) died or (b) left. After the world blows up, the lizardmen probably retrieve him from the void, defrost him and shoot him into Skavenblight.

Nakai was likely in that final battle as well. I like to imagine the Sacred Kroxigor bleeding out of the jungle and plowing into a unit of Stormfiends at a critical moment, perhaps allowing Gor-rok to launch a counter-attack against the skaven. Back to back, the two great warriors would fight on, buying time for their scaly kin and for the mage-priests to enact their final stratagem, until they are at last swarmed under by the scrabbling horde. A small moment, but a pivotal one within the wider tapestry of that final struggle.

Queen Thalestris led the defense of Genaina, alongside her daughter Azura and Lysippe, in those final days. They were still fighting against the teeming skaven when the moon detonated and death rained down from the skies.
The Great Shrine of Rigg was destroyed early in the skaven invasion of Lustria. Its defenders fell to a foe that no amount of martial prowess could match, when skaven scouts unleashed altered plague rats into the temple complex. Each rat had been altered by the artisans of Clan Moulder to secrete enzymes which, when exposed to air, created a poisonous gas. Soon, the Great Shrine fell silent, save for the sound of rats gnawing on the bodies of the fallen. In this way, the Avatar of Rigg was prevented from playing any part in the battle against Clan Pestilens.
Melandre Hawkeye and Penthesilea were both sighted in Skeggi, in those final days. It was said that they were attempting to free those Amazons taken as slaves by the Norscans, as the latter fought to repel the skaven, prior to the settlement's destruction. Others whispered that Melandre perished not in Skeggi, but in the Piranha Swamps, after leading several clawbands of skaven into the deadly mire.
Lwaxana played little part in the wider war; legions of skavenslaves and plague monks entered the Swamps of Death, but none emerged. What occurred within the fungus patches of the Blue Stumps prior to the moon's fall remains a mystery.

As to the other two bloodlines...I think one went to Cathay, and the other to Ind. The former insinuated itself into the celestial bureaucracy of the Dragon Emperor over the course of several centuries. It warred regularly with the entrenched Tzeentchian cults, pitting scheme against scheme, a factor which contributed to its relatively small size and lack of martial vigor. When Cathay fell, those vampires not lost in the madness of war retreated with the Dragon Emperor.
In Ind, the vampires were worshipped as gods in those isolated regions where they chose to settle. Never very many, they rigorously controlled their bloodkiss, gifting it only to the worthy. When Ind burned, the vampires there were already at war with one another--some wished to travel west to join Nagash, while others wished to remain in isolation. Attentions divided, the vampires were unable to resist Chaos for very long. One by one, they were destroyed, and the primogenitor of the bloodline fell to the ax of Arbaal the Undefeated.

Norse

https://ask.fm/JoshMReynolds/answers/126529804767
Erik Redaxe fell in single combat with Valkia the Bloody, during those initial months when the forces of Haargoth the Blooded One and Gutrot Spume absorbed the Norscan jarls and their tribes into their hosts. Redaxe sought to resist this reduction of his authority, and was given the gift of a hero's death at the hands of Khorne's handmaiden.
With the death of Redaxe, many of the Norse tribes revolted against the forces of Chaos, refusing any and all attempts to limit their sovereignty. Some of this discontent coalesced around the enigmatic Sturmjarl, who pitted his magics against those of the gods themselves and met his doom during the ravaging of Ejsgard, when, it is said, Khorne himself lashed out and split the mountain top where Sturmjarl had chosen to make his stand.
Keorl Thunderhand bent knee to Haargoth and Valkia after witnessing Redaxe's fate and fearing for his people's fate, should he refuse. He led his Sarls in the siege of Kraka Dorden. The Thunderhand met his fate there, on those snowy slopes, when he led his jarls in an attack on the eastern gates of the great hold, and ran afoul of the hold's drake-guns, cleverly hidden beneath the icy veneer of the mountain. The Thunderhand alone survived the flames, but fell to the axes of the gates' dwarfen defenders.
Ravenswyrd appeared several times during the End Times, always in order to protect his people. He prevented Valkia the Bloody from massacring the gathered jarls after the death of Redaxe, and later, he appeared when the Sarls were on the verge of breaking during the siege of Kraka Dorden. He was last seen in combat with the runepriests of Kraka Ravnvake on the southern slopes of the hold, before the great explosion which sent that section of the mountain crumbling into the valleys below.
Drenok Johansen was one of those, like Sturmjarl, who refused to serve the gods of Chaos. The wielder of the Great Axe slaughtered the servants of the Blood God in their hundreds, as they assailed him in the mountain fastness of the Icefang Clan. He finally fell in battle with the daemon prince Kastragar.
Jora and Bjorn too fought against Chaos in those bloody days, and it is whispered that they met their fate at Sjoktraken, fighting alongside the dwarfs of that hold against the legions of the Blood God. Jora herself was said to have fallen to Valkia's wrath, enraging Bjorn to the point that not even the Gorequeen could stand against the great bear. Bjorn was last seen standing guard over Jora's body, as the bloodthirster, Skarbrand bore down on him.
Stymir Rimefrost was murdered by the kin of the Jotuns' former leader Yagamir, in retribution for his refusal to join Chaos. The remaining Jotuns joined Valkia's hideous crusade against the holds of the Norse Dwarfs, and it is said that many fell during the siege of Kraka Drak.

As to who took control in the end? I think, as the ETs progressed, his Chaos half would have grown stronger. BUT, in those final days, as the influence of Tzeentch waned, the two halves would have been more evenly matched. In the end, I think Galrauch tore himself apart as the world died.

Amon'chakai was the greater daemon responsible for luring the man-god Sigmar into the Vortex, after his deification. Tzeentch feared the havoc a young, powerful god might cause--Sigmar, ever the uniter, might have brought together the gods of men, elves and dwarfs in an alliance against the Chaos powers, once he became used to his newfound state of being. Thus Amon'chakai and Kairos Fateweaver were dispatched to lure the newly deified Sigmar into a prison from which he would never escape.
Unfortunately, while Amon'chakai was cunning enough to get Sigmar in, he wasn't cunning enough to escape, and was dragged into the maelstrom of magic by the fierce man-god, where he was subsequently torn apart. Kairos Fateweaver took his place as Tzeentch's vizier. Morghur, I think, got fried during the battle of Altdorf, though it likely wasn't permanent. If I'm wrong, then he was likely in charge of the vast beastherd which was keeping the elves bottled up in Athel Loren. Ungol Four-Horn, given his backstory, was probably killed by Malagor, during his unification and mobilization of the herds early on in the ETs. Ghorros Warhoof was probably cavorting in the ruins of one of the Empire cities right up until the end, like Moonclaw and *possibly* Slugtongue.

Krakanrok the Black awoke in the final days, and surged forth into the Chaos Wastes, to ravage and rampage amongst the countless cities and tribes yet remaining there. In his rage, he toppled the Tower of Hateful Stars and razed the Forbidden City. The tribes of the far north fled before him, into Kislev, and Krakanrok followed, destroying everything in his path. Even as he swept aside the ruins of Praag, Archaon's final gambit was played to its conclusion.
Krakanrok was dragged roaring into the realm of the Chaos gods. His final fate is unrecorded.

(chapitre I page 44)
