Est-ce que ça vous convient ? En gros ça donne plus de polyvalence au gyro, par contre pas de protection pour la haute altitude (la règle communautaire des Ballons) et ça prend un slot pour l'ingé.

Chris Dunstan nous propose sur le groupe anglophone une version du Bomber. Je n'ai pas compris s'il en était l'auteur ou s'il l'avait trouvé quelque part, son document n'est pas très clair à ce niveau-là





Gyrobombers Cost: 50 points per Gyrobomber [NdR : chèros 50 pts]



The heavily armoured Gyrobomber is the next evolutionary step in dwarf aerial technology. Kept afloat by two rotor arrays and a dirigible balloon, the Gyrobomber is part Gyrocopter and part airship. Equipped with a formidable payload of grudgebuster bombs and a nose mounted Clattergun.


Special Attack

A Gyrobombers special attack is to drop bombs on its target; bombs can only be used against land-based targets and not against other fliers.

First nominate the enemy location that you are aiming at. You may only target a high location; unless the target is too small to make the distinction between high and low locations, in which case you may target any location.

Once you have nominated the target location, roll a dice on the Bombing table in the same way as a War Balloon [NdT : Même règle que dans cette discussion]


Boarding actions and Close combat

A Gyrobomber may never close with enemy ships and engage them in boarding actions, as it is too unmanoeuvrable.

In close combat against other Flyers, a Gyrobomber gets 1 dice + 1, as it has 1 wound; however, the Gyrobomber may not initiate a close combat, but may only defend itself if attacked.

As the enemy approaches, a Gyrobomber may use its Clattergun as defensive fire, before it enters close combat.

However, once in close combat, the best a Gyrobomber can do is fend off the attacker. If the Gyrobomber wins a round of the boarding action it may force its opponent to break off the attack but does not cause any damage to it.
