gleaming glory!

Want to display your hobby dedication with something a bit bigger and more Space Marine-y? Take a look at these new action figures from our partners at Bandai.

Built to the same exacting specifications as the recent Ultramarines Primaris Intercessor, these fully articulated action figures represent two new Chapters. The Imperial Fists, clad in their proud yellow livery, and the flame-embellished Salamanders stand by to protect humanity – and your display shelves – from all the horrors of the galaxy.

Check back later this week to learn how to get your armoured gauntlets on them.

Cadia Stands… On Your Shelves

jOvT4SIK9EW2lQP4.jpg

If you avidly follow the Warhammer Facebook page, you may have seen a teaser recently for Astra Militarum action figures. Today, we can show you the first figure in this new range, and let you know when – and how – you’ll be able to get it!

This incredible depiction of a Cadian Officer is produced by our friends at Green Wolf Studios. It stands 30cm tall (that’s 12″ in Warhammer measurement), and as you can see, the detail is nothing short of stunning. From the weathered fatigues to the bionic eye and chainsword, this figure really brings one of the scions of fallen Cadia to life.

You’ll be able to get your eager hands on this incredible Cadian Officer through a Kickstarter campaign that Green Wolf Studios will be running from the 2nd of October. To find out more about the campaign, and to be among the first to see more Astra Militarum action figures, follow Green Wolf Studios on Facebook

How to Order Your Bandai Space Marines

Piyw9CMk7U08xGcv.jpg

Reinforcements have arrived for your display shelves – the Salamanders and Imperial Fists action figures from Bandai are nearly here!

Last time we released a Bandai figure, all 9,000 of them sold out extremely quickly. We’ve listened to your feedback, and we’re doing things a bit differently this time. The two new figures will be on pre-order for one week, and every order placed during that time will be manufactured and shipped out by Bandai in March or April 2021. Yep, whether 9,000 or 90,000 of you want to add these action figures to your collection, you’ll get them – as long as you remember to place your order between the 12th and the 19th of September!

You’ll be able to order your Primaris Intercessors between Saturday the 12th of September and Saturday the 19th of September. We expect production and delivery to take around six months, so you should be playing with your new toys* around late March or early April 2021.

Please note that if you’re in Japan, you won’t be able to order your action figures through the Games Workshop webstore – instead you’ll be able to pre-order them directly from Bandai.

While you’re waiting for your figures to arrive, you can scratch your Space Marine itch with some smaller, though no less awesome, Primaris Intercessors to build and paint.

* Or placing them, fully boxed, on shelves to look down upon your room. Whatever works for you.

Coming Next Month: Action Figures from McFarlane Toys

C4KoSWUZ3eIXQQeb.jpg

In October, you’ll be able to grow your Warhammer 40,000 action figure collection with three incredible new figures from McFarlane Toys.

The Space Marines Assault Intercessor Sergeant represents the leader of the 4th Squad of the Ultramarines 2nd Company. This 7” tall figure features all the same details as his smaller plastic brothers, including the Indomitus Crusade icon on his left vambrace, and a tilting plate with personal heraldry. He’s armed with a heavy bolt pistol and an Astartes chainsword, which can be posed in a variety of ways with the figure’s 22 points of articulation.

If you want a Space Marine action figure that you can customise to be from the Chapter of your choice, the Primaris Intercessor Artist’s Proof is for you. Supplied in bare plastic, this 7” figure is ready to be painted in any colours you desire. Match your Warhammer 40,000 army, or try out a new colour scheme – the choice is yours. This action figure comes with a bolt rifle and, like his Ultramarines brother, he has 22 points of articulation, allowing you to display him in whatever manner you choose.

Enemies of the Imperium will want to grab the Necron Warrior figure. Also standing 7” tall and boasting its own 22 points of articulation, this figure is painted in bronze, silver, and black, with eerie glowing green eyes. This glow is echoed on the gauss flayer that the figure is supplied with, as well as the Scarab that can sit alongside the Warrior.

All three figures can be ordered from games-workshop.com on Saturday the 10th of October, and will be available for just one week. Make sure to set a reminder now – you don’t want to miss your chance to grab these stunning depictions of iconic Warhammer 40,000 units. Let us know on the Warhammer 40,000 Facebook page which of these figures will be gracing your shelves – and how you plan to paint your Artist’s Proof!

McFarlane Toys Warhammer 40,000 Action Figures – Wave 2!

YVKilRV2F9CR5b8Q.jpg

The master artisans over at McFarlane Toys have been hard at work creating the next wave of Warhammer 40,000 action figures. What’s more, we can officially reveal their two latest offerings right here, right now!

First up is a Sister of Battle, who was modelled after the heroic star of the action-packed Warhammer 40,000 cinematic trailer. Here she is in all her glory.

This articulated action figure is painted in the colours of the Order of Our Martyred Lady, and her ornate armour and accoutrements have been rendered in incredible detail. Just look at the texture on the fabric of her tabard!

Next up is a xenos offering, inspired by the antagonists of the cinematic trailer – the Necrons.

This Necron Warrior is an Artist’s Proof edition, meaning that it’s the same design as the original Necron Warrior, but comes unpainted. This will leave you free to paint it up in the colours of any dynasty you choose – one of the six featured in the upcoming codex or another of your own creation.

Both of these amazing action figures will launch early next year. The Sister of Battle will be available on games-workshop.com and all McFarlane Toys partnered shops, while the Artist’s Proof Necron Warrior will be exclusive to Walmart. In the meantime, you can buy the first wave of McFarlane action figures – including the pre-painted Necron Warrior – on our webstore from Saturday the 10th of October.

If you want to display your allegiance to the Necrons for all to see, we’ve got just the thing. McFarlane Toys are releasing a set of new action figures, including this Necron Warrior and accompanying Scarab!

The Adeptus Astartes aren’t about to let the Necrons take over your shelves unopposed, though. They’re sending in this Ultramarines Primaris Assault Intercessor Sergeant – who you might recognise from the Warhammer 40,000 cinematic trailer

If you fancy painting an action figure of your own, this Intercessor will also be available as an Artist’s Proof, ready to join whichever Chapter you choose!

Each of these 7”-scale action figures features over 20 points of articulation. They’ll be available to pre-order for just one week, starting on Saturday, so make sure you set a reminder if you want to grab them.

McFarlane Toys Action Figures: The Next Generation

Ebczr7hh5gkSqxN2.jpg

Wow, Warhammer fans love action figures! The first wave of figures by McFarlane Toys – the superb Ultramarines Assault Intercessor, Space Marines Intercessor Artist Proof, and Necron Warrior – went on sale on Saturday and are sold out on our webstore already! But fear not – more amazing action figures are on the way!

UTXUIDcPTaivMdDz.jpg

We’ve already previewed the next wave of figures that will be guarding your shelves – a Sister of Battle and bare plastic Necron Artist’s Proof for you to paint yourself – and oh my, there’s so much more to come.

The next wave of figures will expand your Space Marine arsenal and give you more opportunities to paint on a larger scale.

First up, the Blood Angels Hellblaster is armed with a plasma incinerator, complete with dangerous-looking, glowing energy coils. He’s marked out as a fire support battle-brother by his blue helmet, and his markings indicate that he’s from the seventh squad of the Second Company. Both shoulder pad and chest bear the iconic winged blood drop of the Chapter.

The Hellblaster Artist’s Proof carries the same weapon, but his armour is free of markings, and his chest bears the more conventional winged skull, allowing you to paint him as a battle-brother of any Chapter and company you please! Theme him around your existing Warhammer 40,000 army or try out a new colour scheme – it’s up to you!

Similarly, the Sister of Battle Artist’s Proof has been left free of iconography, so you can make her part of any of the holy orders of the Adepta Sororitas – we think she’d look pretty nifty in the red, black, and white of the Order of the Bloody Rose…

All three of these figures will be available soon – keep an eye out for details of how you’ll be able to get your hands on them.

In the meantime, follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter to be kept in the loop on the latest action figures and much more!

McFarlane Toys Return With 5 New Warhammer 40,000 Action Figures

McFarlaneToys Jun09 Header23nlfk

Warhammer 40,000 fans rejoice – the time is nigh to order the next batch of incredible action figures from McFarlane Toys. Whether you want some valiant defenders of Mankind to stand guard over your desk or fancy a painting challenge on a whole different scale, you’re definitely in for a treat.

To date, we’ve seen a handful of action figures from McFarlane Toys, but now we’re being treated to five new additions, two of whom you may have seen back in October in our sneak peek at the next generation of action figures from McFarlane Toys.

Next in line for an action figure glow up is a Blood Angels Hellblaster…

… a storied hero of the Imperium in the form of a Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant (and a super-shiny one at that)…

… and a Battle Sister of the Adepta Sororitas.

Each action figure stands a towering 7″ tall and features up to 22 different points of articulation that let you reposition them in dozens of different poses, from standing imperiously, weapons at the ready, to kneeling and taking aim.

The Battle Sister can be equipped with a boltgun, chainsword, or both, while the Hellblaster bears an enormous, two-handed plasma incinerator – all the better to, er, incinerate his foes. The Primaris Lieutenant comes with a power sword and plasma pistol, which he can use in either hand (Space Marines are ambidextrous, after all). They even come on their own round bases, just like miniatures.

Both Blood Angels come pre-painted. The Hellblaster’s armour bears the markings of a Fire Support Squad – more specifically, the 7th Squad of the 2nd Company – while the Primaris Lieutenant’s armour is bedecked in the more ostentatious manner favoured by Blood Angels officers, such as his peer, Tolmeron.

McFarlaneToys Jun09 BALieutenantDetails4vovws

Similarly, the Battle Sister comes painted in the iconic black armour and crimson habit of the Order of Our Martyred Lady.

McFarlaneToys Jun09 SoBDetails5oobje

However, if you’d rather paint them up in the colours of your choosing, you can grab yourself the Artist’s Proof edition of the Primaris Hellblaster and Battle Sister. Essentially, this is a fancy way of saying that they come supplied in a matt grey finish, making them easy to paint yourself with Citadel paints.

These fantastic new action figures will be available to order from games-workshop.com in the UK and Europe from Saturday the 12th of June, so whether you want a pre-painted version or would rather paint your own, make sure you don’t miss out.

If you live in North America, you’ll have to wait a little bit longer to get your hands on these action figures – the Hellblaster and the Battle Sister will be available on the 24th of July in the States. Also, the Blood Angels Primaris Lieutenant is exclusively available from Walmart if you live in North America. It’s sold out online at the moment, but investigate your local brick and mortar Walmart store and you might just find one, Emperor-willing.
