All my banshee units always charge under her cover. Zone of her aura is sufficiently big, since all I need to do is to have 1 model slightly within range. In the rare cases where it's impossible for whatever reason (she's dead or a couple of squads acting independently on other side of the board), I only charge things that cannot hurt me much, or from behind the corner or simply eat up overwatch with wave serpents. Teh metil: You guess absolutely correct. Due to overwatch not being applicable, I always declare everything within 12 a target of the charge so I can engage maximum. As for the new faq - autarch is a monster in terms of effectiveness. He definitely stays. I don't really need Yvraine in this list - she walks in tandem with shooty infantry units which I dont use - I tend to proc off a dying enemy instead. Rather, in the light of flyers again losing the ability to score objectives, which kills one of their crucial functions, I'm gonna try to squeeze the Yncarne in instead, and probably a 4th serpent as well. Tir: Overall, most of the time I played lists that were comfortable for me indeed (those are surprisingly many actually. I only really suffer versus massive armies with 100+ models, since I literally end before I kill them). Thanks to my captain and coach. The only tough game was the last one. Havent yet lost a single Stormraven game, but they have all been very close with me tabling with just a few models left myself. The list builds around the banshees, but there are a lot of other important elements in it, that play in combination with each other. Planes do the antitank damage, claim objectives far away and snipe out too cocky characters. Serpents provide protection to characters, clear screens and lock down shooty units. Can also do some shooty damage. Casters support the rest and smite things up. Warlock for his 37 points also loves to die horribly during disembarkation from one of the failed 12 2+, which results in a banshee charge or a fire dragon barrage at whatever just killed the wave serpent (since after last faq we can no longer soulburst off a dying tank itself). When he doesnt die, he either buffs banshees to hit on a rerollable 2+ together with the autarch, or debuff their enemies not to hit at all. And the autarch himself is a deathbringing machine in himself.
