    @ Zoj5 @homkehomke

    My international friends, congratulations for your first and second places!
    As your are here, you could see us how you see the event.
    I'm very curious to know how to think about this kind of event, outside of our boundaries.

    You may have some things to do with it, cause you have some secret strategy, but you will be very welcome by the imho.

    Was the limited duration of the games a part of your way of building and playing?
    Something like "we need to score quickly, perhaps cause we will only play 3 turn" or "Too many tanking is not required.

    Do you consciously build the pressure is your foes, by challenging the clock or checking measurement and so on to push 'em to the fault?

    What do you consider to be part of the games? The table, the list building, the pairing, the mind game, the tiredness mangement? more?

    This is a direct quote from my teammate, Stepan Zotov:

    "We may sincerely assure you that playing the clock was as far from our intention, as possible. And save for the match with England, two other warnings were almost comical and unexpected (i incurred one by going to the restroom effectively).

    It is our sole responsibility for underestimating the consequences clearly written in the Rulespack. We bear it most seriously, and will make sure to correct our fault.

    We consider the results fair and just. To be the best - you must strive for excellence in all things :)

    Thank you for your interest and overall generous reception."

    @inspratoo

    Thanks a lot!

    @Zoj5

    Sorry for the english, I do not speak french :)

    As a member of team England I thought i'd add my opinion on the russian penalty situation.

    The russians are very fair and excellent opponents for us. There was no complaints from us with regards to their players. Stepan and Josh had an argument but it was resolved (unfortunately against us - cost us 20 points).

    The time penalty was because Mani (or IG / BA player) and the russian Ork player only got to turn 2 in 4 hours. This was unacceptable in the eyes of the ref on both sides, so we both got a penalty. however, it was our first penalty so it was added to the end of the event - not a round point reduction. It was the Russians 3rd penalty and they had a penalty of -15 to the round score.  If the game would have continued naturally, I would have thought it would be very much in his favor for a few days or so. Instead on turn 2 it ended 3-17 to the Russian Ork (who is an excellent guy and player and this definitely was not his fault!)

    I do not think we have any information from other teams facing Russia before us (or at least I did not hear any). We were prepared for their lists - we knew what they did and they were 'off-meta' but I thought we knew the truth and what to avoid. to - hit modifiers and very intense psychic pressure). It was a very tough round with good players on both sides. It was an epic clash and it was a shame we could not get the few things we needed because of time.

    Well done to the french team you guys did great, looking forward to see you again soon.

    Sorry for the English, because i also don't speak french :)

    I am the russian ork player, that played against Mani. Everything in your post is true, except for the fact, that if game continued naturally, Mani would be tabled on turn 4. On my 3rd turn i only rushed for objectives, without shooting SSAG and 13 smashas at his characters. I'd like to see how he was expecting to fight me off with one wyvern and couple useless characters like Harker or astropath, that might have survived my round of shooting.

    Mani was really good opponent, i'd like to play more against him or your team next year!
