On peut donc se dire que les chances pour que Glo et Ech soient le même sont faibles... Moust83700 Posted June 25, 2004 Share Posted June 25, 2004 La question n'est pas si Echtelion = Glorfindel, mais si le Glorfindel de Gondolin = Glorfindel de Foncombe... Et en effet, au début, Tolkien ne voulait faire aucune unicité entre ls 2 Glorfindel, mais après, il s'est rendu compte qu'il avait mis 2 fois le même nom pour 2 personnages différents., il a résolu le problème en disant que les 2 Glorfindel étaient les mêmes et que celui de Gondolin, tué par un Balrog, fut renvoyé pour sa force, sa bravoure et son courage en Terre du Milieu par les Valar et quitta donc Mandos... Il n'y a que 2 Elfes qui ont été renvoyé de Mandos, et c'est Luthien et Glorfindel. Tolkien affirme que les 2 Glorfindel sont une seul et même personne, et le Glorfindel de Foncombe ne peut pas etre Glorfindel de Gondolin et aussi Echtelion... PS = pour plus d'éclairsissement, je te conseille la lecture de "The People of Middle Earth", le 12eme tome de la série HoME (History of Middle Earth), dont les 2 premeirs tomes sont les Contes Perdus. @+++ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
