Peut il - faire le mouvement "avant garde" avec l'unité - ou interdit il à l'unité de faire ce mouvement d'avant garde. - ou peut il être laissé sur place tandis que l'unité s'avance au déploiement ? No. What’s more, if the unit is formed, it will not be able to make a Vanguard move; the presence of a character without the Vanguard special rule within its ranks prevents it. However, if the unit is in Skirmish formation, it can make its Vanguard move as normal, leaving the character behind.
