Chalut a tous, content d etre de retour apres ces quelques semaines d abscences (changement de FAI :D )

Voici un message, passé sur la BFG-List, de Natan Montes (un des gars de l equipe de developpement de BFG), apportant quelques clarifications sur l holofield

To clarify, holofields protect

against ANY kind of attack that does not use the gunnery table. ANY attack,

including teleport attacks, boarding actions, ramming, all ordnance (incl mines), Nova Cannon, etc. It does NOT protect against celestial phenomena (like asteroid fields, solar flares, etc.), blast markers, and area effects such as the Mark of Slannesh, Nightmare Field and Warp Drive implosions.

Here's the important kicker. Every attack or weapon shooting gets exactly one holofield save. For instance, when a Nova Cannon rolls a dead-on hit and

a roll of 6 hits, you get ONE SAVE against the shot (either it hit or it

missed), NOT one save against each of the six hits rolled. A mine that comes

in base contact with an Eldar ship works the same way when it detonates. The

mine either missed or it didn't. If it missed, nothing happens and the mine

goes away. If it hit, ALL the hits rolled by the mine take effect.

"Each weapon shooting," means it rolls teh save against each lance shooting,

each mine that hits, each ram that attacks, etc. Where this gets fuzzy is that

the save works against salvoes and attack craft waves as well. If you bunch

up a massive wave of six or eight markers and it misses, they ALL miss.

However, six individual bomber markers that attack EACH get to roll against

holofields seperately. As Eldar also do not have turrets, it makes sense to

attack with individual markers and seperate salvoes (like Cobras firing

separately) instead of massed waves, contrary to conventional wisdom.

Throw enough bombers at an Eldar ship, and SOMEONE will find them, and during

the experience they generally (and rather satisfyingly) crumple up like tissue

paper. I find Tau bombers with their 4+ save to be especially deadly in this


Finally, EACH TIME holofields successfully save, a blast marker is placed in

base contact with the Eldar ship. In the Eldar's next movement phase, it

must roll a D6 to see if it takes a hit for moving through blast markers

(hit on a 6). It is then slowed down and has its leadership affected by the

blast markers in contact just as everyone else. Keep in mind though that no

matter how many blast markers are in contact, they all behave the same as if

only one were in contact. Even if a number of BM's are in contact with the

Eldar vessel, it is only slowed down by 5cm and only has to make its D6

to-hit roll once.

On etait au courant de la plus part des précisions mais il y en a une en particulier qui est interessante: (enfin si je comprends bien)

Contre une salve de torpilles ou de bombardiers l eldars ne fait qu UNE seule svg a 2+ contre la slave (et pas contre chaque pion de la salve) si c est saéuvegarder la salve complete est inneficace.

il precise donc qu il faut envoyer les bombardiers un par un afin que le joeur eldar doivent faire une sauvegarde contre chaque, mais ainsi la svg d holofields est effectuée contre le pion lui meme et non pas contre chaque domage (jusqu a 1d6) qu il pourrai faire.

Finalement c est plutot interessant pour le joueur eldars car ca fait des svg a 2+ et pas trop de pions d impact a gerer en revanche si la svg est loupée ---> Boom le vaisseau ^_^

Bienvenu de retour!!! (ca veut rien dire, mais bon....)

Ta traduction me semble bonne, le jouer eldar ne peut effectuer qu'une seule sauvegarde à 2+ grâce à l'Holofield.

c'est vrai que les joueurs Eldars sont globalement avantagés, car cela évite de laisser passer la plupart des attaques (en gros, sauvegarde à 2+ contre une attaque, alors qu'avant, c'était 2+ contre chaque touche)

M'enfin, je dis ca, mais je suis le roi du lancer de 1 (mon ami/joueur régulier lui, c'est le champion de lancer de 6, mais sa dévotion pour Slannesh n'a ..... pas de borne :D )

Oui, j'ai vu ça passer aussi hier sur la ML.

Par contre, j'ia pas eu le réflexe de poster ça ici. Bien joué Kuss.

Pour le coup de la vague de torpilles ou de bombardiers (de bombardiers surtout) l'eldar va vraiment regrêter sa svg ratée.
